'Gator in the Snow

Alligator Alley: American Alligator out by a snow patch. March 14, 2018. I know alligators are more cold-weather tolerant than other crocodilians but I've never seen one outside when there's still snow on the ground. Usually the zoo keeps them off-exhibit until the Spring.

For the gator pool and the turtle pool in the aviary in Alligator Alley, the temperature is turned up to 65 degrees during the winter.
