This bronze sculpture was unveiled in April 2018. It is dedicated to the conservation efforts for mountain gorillas in the Congo, and particularly the everyday dangers that the rangers face.
Now that is an extraordinary sculpture, especially when one considers that Scovill Zoo is a tiny Illinois attraction that most certainly does not contain gorillas. A fascinating photo!
