I'm not seeing anymore mention of the crowned cranes; they were actually a fairly big part of the hoofstock barn plans, with a proposed separate area for them. Have they been removed from the plans?
@Milwaukee Man Possibly. But it is hard to tell. We still know very little about the species Adventure Africa will contain. We know elephants for sure. Also bongos, duikers, impala, zebras, and gazelles. But the zoo has been hinting at new hoofstock. We don't know if the cabin thing will contain any small mammals or reptiles or fish or anything like that. Crowned Cranes are still a possibility.
@Milwaukee Man I just got promotional material yesterday and they were talking about the crown cranes joining the hoof stock crew along with a potential new hoof stock when they open the exhibit. There may be hope left that they are doing both.
