Are you sure that is Coolio? It looks more like Sweetie. Coolio is bigger. They are currently being rotated.

That’s most likely sweetie since coolio finished molting

I appreciate the input guys, and the info has been changed. Seeing how the seal didn’t seem all that interested in this training session taking place, it also was likely Sweetie possibly still getting used to the new routines. Either way, it was cool to see my first elephant seal.

@TigerValley98 I hope someday both Coolio and Sweetie can be on exhibit together!!!

@jusko88 Just give them time. Ellie Mae (formerly Sweetie) is still getting use to the exhibit and her sea lion companions.

@TigerValley98 Ellie Mae is still very young and small. Coolio, while also young, is still older and much longer. They will most likely be introduced when they reach maturity
