This is a pioneering underwater hippo viewing exhibit (possibly the first?). How does it hold up compared to the modern generation of underwater viewing like San Diego and DAK?
This exhibit seems to lack the filtration, including fish, that far superior exhibits include. It is not good for viewing. However visitors can get reasonably close to view them from above.
