Alebrijes have be come quite popular after the Pixar movie Coco. Chapultepec zoo has these large alebrijes folk art on endangered mexican species. They are quite beautiful.
I agree monkey bat, more Latín american zoos should add folk art of native animals to their exhibits, it can also aid education of wildlife conservation .
