Dasyurus maculatus. One of two males. Also known as: spotted-tailed quoll, spotted-tail quoll, spotted quoll.
Onshow - Right-hand outdoor area of tiger quoll exhibit complex.
Permission obtained for photo release.
Wow, amazing animal. Where is it's enclosure located? I'm visiting Sunday :-)

You lucky bastard :p being near enough to Hamerton to manage two visits within a week would give you that status anyway.......

I need to get back ;)

I'm so relieved these weren't there on Saturday. Missing the chance of seeing two quoll species would have killed me! (And yes, I know the Linton ones were no-shows but the potential was there...:p )

The ones at Bristol would be the easier ones for you to see in any case :)

@TeaLovingDave It's probably cheaper for me to get to Hamerton than Bristol, just more awkward. Especially with the sprog...

@pipaluk The group I would have been with failed last week, it was my only consolation after being told/shown wombat and possum pictures and news! ;)

@Brum
I too was at Linton last Saturday before the group arrived and after they left, but saw all 3 at some point , can't remember exactly when though ! They were unlucky , but at least that will be a consolation to you!
