Is this exhibit as large as some of the other fantastic wolf exhibits I've seen? Most recently I saw a very large one at Sedgwick County Zoo.

@geomorph This exhibit does go back a long way and I barely saw flashes of the zoo's 5 wolves. The animals used to be next to the Polar Bears but the zoo has so many bears (11 of them!) that it was imperative that the wolves received a new exhibit elsewhere. Now the wolves are right next to Arctic Foxes (the zoo actually has 3 exhibits with that species as they breed them like crazy) and the cats (Cougars and Canada Lynx).

I feel that wolves are regularly found in excellent zoo habitats across North America and there are plenty of facilities that have top-notch enclosures for those canids. Sedgwick County has a great wolf exhibit and that entire zoo is very good.

Quite a few of the wolf exhibits are viewed through log cabin lodges so this one with a modern viewing shelter is a change.
