I didn't realize that mongoose were a problem in Fiji like they are in Hawaii. Is there any attempt to eradicate them, or are they completely naturalized at this point?
@Easily seen in Suva botanical gardens; I also saw a couple in back gardens, from windows. Have little knowledge about them, but I am sure that they would not be a welcome species and these would have to prey on some native species.
