Ficus flower on Fijian beach

Ehm... Ficus? :P

It can be various kind of things, from a Calliandra/Albizia thing to a Pseudobombax or other bombacoid tree, or even a Barringtonia or related... buf of course nothing that can resemble the least a Ficus! Ficus flowers are INSIDE the green fig and are like minute papillae, usually less than a millimeter long...
 
Underneath the ficus tree were several of these flower. I identified the tree by a photo of a ficus in a brochure. Probably got it wrong as I have little knowledge ofplants!
