1930s-era Ring-tailed Lemur Exhibit

July 20th, 2018.
From a distance I was sure that this was an exhibit under construction but in fact this enclosure looks like this every day. The lemurs can climb all over the metal frames and there are a couple of bells that were occasionally ringing whenever a lemur would swing on a rope attached to a bell. A very odd animal exhibit!

Its like a cheap version of the gibbon exhibit at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Although this has weak looking scaffolding and is lacking any vegetation as well.
