On a few occasions during various 'Snowleopard Road Trips' over the years, I'll pay approximately $8 U.S. in order to have a towel, face cloth and a private washroom in order to shower and clean up for the night. Then I'll go and sleep on a mattress in the back of my minivan and save anywhere from $1,000-$1,500 on each road trip. On this particular trip my sleeping habits have been van, van, motel, van, van, motel, van, van, motel on a pretty consistent basis.
