Helsinki Zoo - Snow leopard exhibit

One of the exhibits for snow leopards in Helsinki Zoo. The snow leopards is the signature animal of the zoo, and they get babies almost every year.

Allen Nyhuis, co-author of "America's Best Zoos", visited this zoo earlier this year and while he was slightly disappointed due to the somewhat disorganized zoo pathways and handful of empty exhibits nevertheless his favourite section was Cat Valley. He commented that there were hilly, natural habitats for snow leopards, Asian lions, tigers and lynx.
