I believe that these animals are actually Sri Lankan yellow striped chevrotain (Moschiola kathygre), not Indian spotted chevrotains (Moschiola indica).
You're absolutely right- I was going off their sign and how they were listed back in the day on ISIS. Probably before they were considered separate species.
