Jaguar Exhibit 2010

cat's are directly above visitors
How would you rate this exhibit? From other photo's I didn't like the look of it but this one seems interesting, I like the bridge and seems a decent size too
 
It is awful. Small barren dirt enclosure (I mean cage) with a couple logs thrown in. The upper part (in center here where they can go above visitors) is all chain link, including the "floor."

They have since built a newer jaguar exhibit (but still use this one as well). That has running water and mock rock, but it is all cement mock rock. No natural substrate anywhere. I have stopped visiting this zoo because it is painfully obvious that animal welfare is not a priority.
 
Thank you, I'm in the area next week but I'm going to stick to Phoenix Zoo, such a shame because this place sounds like it has an amazing collection
