Photographed at the Guango Lodge, Napo province.
I visited this place on my way from Papallacta to Tena. Great place for watching hummingbirds! I don't remember exactly which species I saw (but I have it in my travel reports).

I saw Boissonneaua flavescens, Boissonneaua matthewsii, Chaetocercus mulsant, Coeligena torquata, Heliangelus exortis and Metallura tyrianthina, next to the flowerpiercer Diglossa cyanea. I would have loved to see the Sword-billed and Long-tailed Hummingbirds like you, but unfortunately those weren't around during my vist.

Still a very nice species line-up! And you have a good reason to visit again, to try and spot the other species.
