Wow, atonishing sharp image of an animal that, as far as I know, is only visible from far distance! My camera could do this photo only at some two meters of distance...
Well you got a good view of them, even with the fence. When I lived in Los Angeles (over two decades ago) I saw them up close in the old roundhouse. I think I still have a slide of one (or maybe I threw it away) but at the time I had no idea what a rare treat it was to see them like that.

As a Taiwanese, I choose LA Zoo for being my first foreign zoo just because there are mountain tapir and red ukari.
