Bornean Pygmy Squirrel - Sepilok

June 2018
This individual was the one Bornean Pygmy Squirrel that I saw that hung around long enough for me to get some pictures. This was at the Orangutan Centre near the main feeding platform so it wasn't particularly scared of people and went up and down a tree feeding in view.

These are one of the Exilisciurus squirrels which I think all eat bark and small insects on the bark. I also have pictures of E. whiteheadi which eats bark too.
