I generally like how you want to fill the spaces that may be unused for now.
I see that, as usually, you find the Mappin Terraces underused.
Also, considering where you placed the striped hyena, are you suggesting there might be too much visitor space?
Good use of the old penguin pool.
Also, wouldn't you get rid of the aardvarks by putting the penguins there? And would koalas replace the fruit bats? (Or maybe live with them)
And finally (for now), which sharks fo you believe could be good assets in the aquarium?
@JigerofLemuria I definitely think that there is too much space for the design in Land of the Lions and they could easily fit in if not hyenas then something smaller.
Tortoises would make a good exhibit in the penguin pool as they wouldn't be able to climb out and it makes use of the space.
As for the aardvarks, if you check ZootierlisteHomepage it states that London Zoo doesn't even have one aardvark any more.
The fruit bats have already moved into Rainforest Life so the roundhouse sits empty so there's a perfect excuse for koalas.
And for sharks I think possibly wobbegong or zebra sharks but nothing to large.
@Daubentoniidae Right, I forgot about the fire! I was very, very lucky to see them before that tragedy struck... T_T
I didn't know the fruit bats were moved into rainforest Life. Are they in the nocturnal or diurnal section?
@JigerofLemuria Yes I actually visited the day before the fire and got one last glimpse of the sleeping aardvarks. And the bats are in the diurnal section with the sloths / tamaduas / etc.
I personally think that the Mapping Terraces is unsuitable for Indian Rhino but I love the idea of putting the bearded pigs or mountain goats on there. Also, I like how you have used some of the empty spaces in the zoo that are mostly ignored by visitors.
