There are a number of odd animals here that you wouldn't expect and I suspect that they are confiscations. I know they have rescued large numbers of slow lorises from the illegal pet trade and hold seized tortoises being illegal imported at Bangkok airport.
As well as the tenrecs, other odd animals that you might not expect are things like the Lao Langur, a Dusky Pademelon, and a few different callitrichids.
