@ThylacineAlive very nice. I photographed these at Jerez back when they were the only zoo to display them, but the photo situation was a bit challenging. Is the enclosure at Madrid photo friendly?
@Arizona Docent Yes - it’s a spacious enclosure with glass viewing panels. The lynx themselves can be quite elusive, however! In a zoo where many carnivore exhibits are fairly dodgy, this is one of the better examples.
@Arizona Docent In addition to the glass viewing panels, there is a mesh wall with little vegetation blocking the view along the side of the enclosure. This is where this photo was taken. I found Madrid's animals to be very active around opening and then impossible to find for the rest of my visit- though I didn't quite stay until closing.
