San Diego Zoo - Striped Hyena Exhibit

August 2008.
I went by there a day or two and it's been upgraded a bit. There's a lot more greenery now, and they added an up-close viewing window to one side.

One thing with San Diego's canyon grottoes is that there has been such a variety of species in them over the years that each visit could possibly include a new animal or one that has been relocated from another section of the zoo. What now holds carnivores might have once been a hoofstock exhibit at one time or another.

Haven't got a clue if they have names.
