Pygmy Hippos 1990s

A species long gone from the zoo, but the new master plan (funded by a tax plan approved by voters last month) will see their return.

I remember seeing this exhibit in 1988. What was this exhibit turned into? Is it part of the current rhino exhibit?

@DavidBrown Yes, the pool was filled in and the pole fence removed, although some of the poles were removed before the last hippo died to allow it to graze on the savanna. It is now all rhino savanna but the old cement night house (very small) is still there.
