Species list for the Cuban aviary:
- Caribbean flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber)
- Brazilian teal (Amazonetta brasiliensis)
- Black-necked stilt (Himantopus mexicanus)
- Glossy ibis (Plegadis falcinellus)
- Crested screamer (Chauna torquata)
- Inca tern (Larosterna inca)
- Black-billed whistling duck or West Indian whistling duck (Dendrocygna arborea)
- Roseate spoonbill (Platalea ajaja)
- Scarlet ibis (Eudocimus ruber)
- Asian woolly-necked stork (Ciconia episcopus episcopus)
- Great egret (Ardea alba) [Present according to Zootierliste at least until recently, but I did not see the birds nor a sign during my visit.]
As one can determine from this list not all birds in this aviary are actually native to Cuba. Some are just generally native to South and/or Central America. And one species kept in here is not an American species at all, but an Asian species, strangely.
