sooty mangabey 1 Nov 2018 @ThylacineAlive I think this may be correct; Ohio has two tanager species present, apparently - Scarlet and Summer. This looks like a Scarlet female, I think (although they're had to tell apart). Thank you!

birdsandbats 1 Nov 2018 Most certainly female Scarlet Tanager, Piranga olivacea. Female Summer has light wings and is slightly redder.

Great Argus 1 Nov 2018 Definitely Scarlet Tanager, though I might go young male... wings are pretty dark for a female Scarlet.
