This looks fairly reminiscent of the "Lightning" pattern of the Maroon Clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus.)

It's Premnas biaculeatus undoubtely, tough I don't know nothing about patterns.

@Kakapo The "Lightning" strain of P. biaculeatus comes from a single founder fish, which was bred and they were able to develop the strain. The original female has quite an impressive pattern which is pretty reminiscent of lightning. While this fish does not exactly display too much of the lightning pattern, it is still fairly similar to that strain.

Interesting info! I suppose that is a similar case that the very black or very white common percula clownfishes now seen often for sale at aquarium shops.

@Kakapo Yes, the 'designer' clownfish have been gaining a fair bit of popularity. They even have a long-finned version of Amphiprion ocellaris now.

This is a captive-bred "designer" strain. There are many such strains for several clownfish species, and even hybrids like *P. biaculeatus* x *A. ocellaris* "Maroonellaris" and *A. percula* x *A. ocellaris* "Percularis".

The black and white Ocellaris common in the aquarium trade are actually a wild colour variant, which is rare in the wild, but much more abundant in captivity due to captive breeding. My first saltwater fish were actually a pair of these captive-bred black Ocellaris. Wild-caught black ocellaris are available, but they are extremely rare, and with a price tag to match! I believe they are harvested from the Northern Territory, hence their trade name, the "Darwin" Ocellaris. The wild-caught ones are stunning fish, but $300+ is just too much!
