Hot air comes out of the snout and can be used to prevent condensation on camera lenses and glasses when entering the hot and humid Bush from a colder and/or dryer outdoors. It works quite well actually. They have another version of this, shaped like the head of a manatee, in the new Mangrove dome.

I have never seen anything like this. I LOVE IT! Zoos should install these in the restrooms (water closets or toilets) for drying your hands.
 
@Arizona Docent I've seen one with a hornbill at Vogelpark Avifauna (and posted a picture of it in that gallery). But besides Burgers and Avifauna I can't remember having seen animal-shaped blowers in tropical houses anywhere else, even if there are certainly more zoos that have blowers.

These dryers to prevent condensation do have a slower and reduced flow compared to bathroom hand dryers.
