Lovely shot, they were all indoors when I visited due to a recent birth...I thought I had lost my chance to see them but got to see the lone male at Berlin zoo.

@taun Thank you, the enclosure here offers better photo opportunities than the one at the Zoo. The calf was out during my visit, but I spent two days at Tierpark and photographed these animals multiple times so I haven't worked out which is my better photo yet :p

@ThylacineAlive lucky you, I only spent a day there but was in winter so was not very warm and a few animals stayed in doors.

Only compliant I suppose about the amazing place that is Tierpark is lack of indoor viewing of anything that is not classified as an ABC species, but loved it the place...ticked so many firsts off at Tierpark.

@taun I can imagine Tierpark in the window is tough.. The lack of indoor exhibits is definitely something I noted while visiting, though this was made a bit worse than perhaps when you visited as the Alfred Brehm Haus is currently closed and the Pachyderm House was also closed on my first visit due to the rhino calf's birth. The outdoor species list is incredible, though.

I suppose that gerenuks avoid eating the poisonous plants of Verbascum that appears in the photo.
