I think he's talking about mutations, such as the lutino/blue/pied/etc ringneck parakeets, lovebirds, kakarikis, parrotlets, budgies, cockatiels and a lot of other parrots. I was unaware of colour mutations of Jandaya conure or any other Aratinga but I find completely unsurprising if breeders selected colour forms of these as in many other Psittaciformes.
