Berlin Zoo- African Cichlid ID?

That looks really odd. It doesn't ring any bells for me, I'm sorry to say.

@gentle lemur Haplochromis sp. "thick skin" is the closest thing I've found for what was listed in this tank, but I don't think that's what this is.

@ThylacineAlive I can understand why 'thick skin' is a possibility, but I can't convince myself that it's right. The shape says Malawi, more or less, but the colours look like a Victorian. Of course it might be a hybrid, or a species from one of the other lakes (say Lake Edward in the Rift or one of the crater lakes), or, of course, I might be missing something obvious
