With the last remains of the old ape (later lemur) house visible. Now all gone, construction on this site has since started. Burgers' Zoo gives regular construction updates on their Facebook page.
@snowleopard Yes, all this space is going to be used for two large exhibits for squirrel monkeys and coatis (mixed) and two lemur species (ring-tailed and black).
So far they've said the new exhibits should open in the Spring of 2019.
