This is an odd zoo. The exhibits are mostly good, or even very good - but the pedagogical material is almost non-existent. This really is as good as it gets. No guidebook either (obviously). How the people of Eindhoven are to learn anything about the animals they are seeing - I don't know.
@sooty mangabey They used to have a guidebooks until several years ago.... This signage is only slightly worse than the other kids-themed zoo in the Netherlands: Dierenpark Amersfoort.
It really is a shame that they have lowered their standard by this much....
