Stoffel is a famous honey badger from this facility. He is known for repeatedly escaping his enclosure. This is not him, but an equally intelligent and resourceful badger that we saw during our visit.
We saw this badger and one other Moholoholo Honey Badger | ZooChat while we were there. If we heard the guide correctly this first one is not Stoffel. The other badger was in a cage behind the open enclosure. If someone knows a distinguishing feature to help ID Stoffel then he may be in these photos. These badgers were no less entertaining as they snorted, rolled around, scratched and stood on their hind legs to get a good look at us.
