This is Jo, a 44 year old female African Elephant from Cleveland Zoo. You are lucky you got to see her so active. Normally she likes to stand by the door and wait for the keepers to let her in.
@DavidBrown A trio of female African elephants from Cleveland resided in Columbus while their original exhibit was renovated and expanded into the current African Elephant Crossing. And yes, as of my visit in August, six Asian elephants (two bulls, four cows, and a calf due this month) reside in Columbus.
