An assortment of my figurines. I don't have many and I don't collect them with any purpose so I don't care about scale - I just buy ones that I like. I gave away a lot of my less-favourite ones.
These are a bit of a mix of true figurines (like Schleich) and "other stuff" like the Yowie ones (the goanna and ringtail possum over to the right). The Arapaima at the front is actually carved out of genuine rubber - my brother got it in Brazil. The dark lizard in the centre is a carved wooden Komodo Dragon I got on Komodo.
Oh man I love these things, I had a buttload as a kid and recently started picking up one or two on visits to zoos. I'm also a fan of the Schleich models, I recognise the style of the racoon. I have a few favourites I keep above my old collection, and one summer I was intent on putting together a "Jungle Book Collection" (a tiger, a sloth bear, a python, etc etc). I should post them sometime
I've got the dodo used to have loads of the Yowie figures but think they went years ago (or they're in my family's garage). Where did you get the banded palm civet? That's a lovely one!
@Crowthorne - all my figures were just bought in shops in NZ or Australia. The Banded Palm Civet and the Spotted Linsang (on the other side of the Hammerhead) are just labelled as "1998 China". There's a symbol in front of the 1998 but I can't make it out. However they both seem to be available from the following site: https://www.collectiblewildlifegifts.com/product-category/Mammals/
