@vogelcommando, very interesting! Would you happen to know the back story on this particular specimen? As stated on Zootietliste, 5 zoos in the Netherlands did keep them in the past, those being Amsterdam, Arnhem, Rotterdam, Valkenburg, and Wassenaar, so I am curious, was this specimen a former zoo animal?
Could well be. The museum in Tilburg used to have becomed a lot of dead animals from the former Tilburgs Dierenpark which was owned by Van Dijk and sons and they were animal-traders. They had sometimes real intresting animals in the collection like one of the last Javan tigers at the end of the 1960-ties, prop. even a Philippine eagle !
@vogelcommando I've noticed you post something I have wanted to 'correct' a few times and it's not often I feel qualified enough to do on this forum, but .... when roughly referring to a period within a decade, we tend to write (as in the above case) 1960's or even drop the ' inverted comma' to 1960s
