I have heard this species is rare in zoos, but how rare? Wikipedia states that outside Indonesia this species is only found at some place in Maryland called Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo, but as this picture shows, that is obviously not true.
I think Special Memories' Booted Macaques came from Catoctin. And aside from these two I don't believe there are any other locations outside Indonesia which would still be very rare.
