Signage for Tapir

The tapir will be moving to the enclosure adjacent to the pygmy hippo in the coming weeks.

It is a mystery why Arturo is moving into this enclosure. It is much smaller than his previous enclosure?? I am lead to believe that the zoo will be doing some renovating up in that north part of the zoo. There was meant to be a small wonders precient built there???

@Jambo Sounds interesting. I agree, his current enclosure seems very suitable for him.

Did you see the female Malayan tapir??? Apparently she is only let out at night because of the sun hurting her eyes but i’ve seen her on exhibit before in the day?

@Jambo No , I was pretty disappointed I didn't see her. I tried to look beyond Arturo's enclosure to see if I could get a possible glance, but nothing.

Yeah, she is normally kept inside so you couldn’t of seen her.

By any chance are visiting Werribee open range zoo or Healsville sanctuary?

@Jambo No unfortunately already in Brisbane.
I visited Werribee in 2016 (loved it), and I haven't been to Healsville (though it's on the list).
I only went to the zoo and the aquarium.
