'Kamina' the Pygmy Hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis)

Thats great! Some of the species that they do have are rarely found in the public zoos.

The development that is going on in the private zoos recently astounds me on how they look into the future. The amount of new species they import and the new developments and exhibits at the zoos.

A thought that comes to mind, is that the public zoo’s are helping the private zoo’s by sending there animals to the private zoos lately to Mogo and Taronga for example. Over the last couple of years Taronga has sent its pair of orangutans and its troop of six (now four) gorillas to Mogo expanding Mogo’s collection.
 
@WhistlingKite24 When one can see the number of species that have been and are being phased out from the major zoos its not going to be that hard to over take in the number of species being kept in the smaller zoos
