@Moebelle The net was/is still connected to the gorillas' indoor space, and was an apparatus filled with hay. Sometimes the gorillas would pull on the adjoining ropes, causing the hay to fall on visitors. It seems that they have removed the hay, but I believe the gorillas still have access to said ropes. It served less of an interpretive purpose and more of an interactive purpose, in that the gorillas would have another avenue to interact with the public aside from just the glass and the howdy crates.
