Home to African white-backed vulture, hooded vulture, Rüppell's griffon vulture, white-headed vulture, common black kite, marabou stork, hamerkop, blue crane and secretary bird (added in 2018, according to information on ZTL).
It's nice to see raptors, even medium-sized ones, in nice big aviaries. I don't know if this is common practice in Europe but here in America I'm to use to seeing birds in avaires that allow them to perch, maybe fly around a tiny bit, and that's about it.
@Hipporex Large(r) aviaries like this one, housing a mix of medium-sized to large birds like vultures, other raptors, marabous, cranes and various waterfowl and heron or ibis-type birds, are actually fairly common here in Europe. Many zoos actually have a variation of this around here.
