Is there a specific theme explanining for the tile enclosure as compared to the other 4 with naturalistic exhibits you just uploaded?

I really dislike this exhibit. Turtles are so intelligent and love exploring, and here they are in a sterile sink. I know lots of members on here have said they "love" this or how "great" an exhibit it is, but I find it just horrible.

Even with the understandable and necessary storytelling going on by putting these animals in a sterile kitchen-sink environment, I personally would still prefer to see these animals in a more naturalistic exhibit at least somewhat mimicking their native habitat, and the story being told another way.

@Chlidonias @KevinB I prefer naturalistic enclosures, but I also do enjoy unique ones with a message just as long as they meet the animals' needs. I agree that they could have perhaps added some more elements to the enclosure for the turtles to explore and interact with, but if this was designed more naturally I don't really see there being much else to this display besides maybe a few extra rocks or a small log. I'd argue that most turtle enclosures in zoos don't give the animals much more to explore than this will. Obviously there are notable exceptions and whether that's acceptable or not is up for debate, but I'm just saying that if this space was redesign to be more naturalistic I do not see there being that much added benefit for the turtles in question.

@aardvark250 Because they would not fit in here. Also this display has been around for a long time and a lot longer than the zoo has held giant salamander.
