My Hundredth Zoo

I wish I had thought to do something similar for mine not that I am even sure what it was! But I should hit 150 soon.....

I also wonder what is written on the paper that the people at the back are holding. Which number zoo is it for them?!

I think that the sign is a great idea and Tom Baker would certainly approve of the scarf! I might just make up my own zoo nerd sign this summer.

@snowleopard Would you have time to take a selfie at each zoo, with the amount per day you plan?

@TeaLovingDave My average visit time inside a zoo is probably the exact same as yours...or perhaps you are even faster than me!

Times quoted from your epic zoo trip thread:

Zoo Duisburg: 3 hours and 40 minutes
Zoo Krefeld: 3 hours
Burger's Zoo: 8 hours and 20 minutes
Artis: 5 hours
Diergaarde Blijdorp: 7 hours

I'm going to visit those 5 zoos (plus 85 more!) this summer. I'll let you know how long I'm at each zoo and I'll try to emulate your times. Or you could just join me...

@snowleopard I seldom get more than two collections done in a day, and more often spend a whole day there whilst judging by some of your trip reports you regularly get three or four polished off per day!

@TeaLovingDave True dat! Although, some of the backwoods, roadside zoos that I've toured in U.S. states like Wisconsin, Michigan and Texas don't deserve much more than an hour of my time. Also, many small aquariums in California charge $5 admission and there are perhaps only a dozen tanks in the facility. I'm sure that you'd spend the exact same amount of time in such places as I do and in some cases I walk around a second time just to ensure that I am there for at least an hour so that I feel as if I've got my money's worth of captive animals.
