Generic Tiger (Panthera tigris)

I'm pretty sure they hold Sumatran Tigers.

@ZooBinh They certainly do and three 'Bengal Tigers'. I confirmed it with a keeper and the tigers on display were the three generic siblings.

Why you use "generic" for the tigers but not for every other of the species uploaded in the same batch to the Gallery? They also aren't specified to subspecies level... you have a generic albino burmese python, generic ostrich, generic plains zebras, generic giraffe, generic waterbuck, generic leopard tortoise, etc...

@Kakapo - probably because, as said, the zoo holds both Sumatran and hybrid ("generic") tigers.

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks! Are they kept separatedly? (I mean one enclosure for Sumatrans and other for generic)?

@Kakapo Glad that’s clarified. These were the they only tigers on-display. They rotate with some of the Sumatran Tigers (mainly young siblings).
