I really like this nocturnal house and its use of different lights (it’s quite effective). You are able to observe the animals and their behaviours much clearer. Some highlights included the large group of hopping mice, watching a dunnart stalk a cricket and of course, the platypus feeding.

The Nocturnal House as of 31/1/19
-Spinifex Hopping Mouse (largest group I’ve ever seen- red light)
-Bilby (red light)
-Black-footed Tree Rat (green light)
-Platypus (my sixth platypus in captivity:))
-Green Tree Python (green light)
-Fat-tailed Dunnart (red light)
- Squirrel Glider/ Long-nosed Potoroo (bluish- green light)

The park’s only Greater Glider (a male) is off-display at the moment.
