Ivan the Gorilla Statue - New in 2016

Was this gorilla ever at this zoo? I know he lived in a mall for years and then went to Zoo Atlanta.

@DavidBrown Ivan certainly lived in Portland for a significant chunk of his life, though not at the Zoo. Rather, the B&I Shopping Center.

@DavidBrown Ivan never once lived at the Point Defiance Zoo, but he did spend 27 years about 20 minutes south of the zoo in a shopping center. The book The One and Only Ivan is an award-winning publication from 2012 that my wife has taught on occasion at her school. The book is geared towards young readers and Disney is making a movie about Ivan that is due for release next year...with the always great Sam Rockwell as the voice of the gorilla.
