Slender-horned gazelle (Gazella leptoceros), Feb 16th, 2019

Given that these are only allowed to go outside when it is sufficiently warm and dry, it is very unusual to see them as early in the year as February, but then again it was unusually and abnormally warm for February at the time. These gazelles are another favorite of mine at Planckendael.
Also, forgot to mention in the above that Planckendael is currently the only zoological collection in Europe where one can see slender-horned gazelles.
