@d1am0ndback as I’ve said there was signs that said it was a Eurasian coot so I was just going off of facts. If u think it’s an Andean Coot chances r you’re likely correct.
@d1am0ndback Is the photo you've mentioned able to be added in the comments here or uploaded to the gallery?
I agree it is not American Coot in the photo here, although I understand the majority of Andean Coot have dark red shields and yellowy bills. Curious if your photo shows the bird better than here?
