Begonia corallina is a synonym of Begonia maculata, but most if not all of the plants in the trade under the name B. maculata or its synonyms are actually Begonia 'Tamaya', a group of hybrids involving various "bamboo-growth" species including, of course, the true B. maculata. Are you sure that this is the pure species or is just the commonly seen hybrid?
@Kakapo I honestly have no idea, I'm sorry. You know way more about this than I do. I did not identify the plant myself as I do not have sufficient botanical knowledge for that. I actually got the ID from a Dutch plant and animal identification Facebook group.
