Amazonian House - Birds, primates and agutis exhibit

The amazonian tropical house, the biggest in France, opened in 2007. Inside this large building (2600 m² - 15 meters high) visitors walk in the heart of a dense vegetation (4000 exotic plants) where live freely a few birds (currasow...). Also, they can see different glass-fronted exhibits for reptiles, mammals, fishes and birds from Amazonia.

This is the large exhibit for brazilian agutis, red-handed tamarins, white-faced sakis, goeldi's tamarins, sunbitterns, giant wood-rail and wattled jacanas.
